9/2 - As I am finishing giving my first assessment of the year for my Algebra 2 Trig kids, I automatically said when you are done you can take out your chromebook afterward if you would like?  And now I am wondering. . .. is the chromebook the same as the phone?  Technology after an assessment?  Now today was a partner assessment so everyone is chatting (with their partner) anyway. . .so I don't think it is that much of a distraction, but would it be a distraction during an individual test?  Is there a cheating potential with the chromebooks being out when an individual student is completed?

I do want to try a paperless test with the chromebooks.  I went to a training in January 2015 for Mastery Manager for a  half of a day about this, but I am going to have to re-look in to it, but I would like to try it and see how it goes.  Maybe on my next group assessment?  We give one a chapter so I think I am going to make that my goal for this year.. . .We'll see if I can figure it out before then.
